About Me

Hi, I’m Karlie – a Brisbane based Pilates Instructor. I work at various studios in Brisbane, hold classes for private clients, and also work for some big corporate businesses in the area. I am a trained Barre, Reformer, and Mat Pilates instructor and I absolutely love what I do!

After working for 10 years in the marketing and events industry, I found Pilates by pure chance. I had always been into health and fitness but had never found anything that transformed my body, mind and spirit like Pilates.

I signed up to an anatomy course, and shortly moved onto my matwork qualifications – all while I was working full time. I was so excited to have finally found my ‘thing’, my ‘passion’ and I knew this was what I wanted to do all day, every day.

I have suffered from lower back and knee pain since highschool (thanks cross country running!), so I was amazed that I would walk out of a Pilates class feeling reenergised, feeling a ‘good’ sore rather than completely exhausted and fatigued.

Over the last 5 years I have evolved my style of teaching to include a fusion of pilates, barre, yoga, and functional training that I know you will love. If you can’t attend my classes in Brisbane you can sign up to my online workouts for less than the cost of a cup of coffee per week.

I want to introduce as many people as possible to Pilates, and encourage them to live a happy, healthy and well balanced life.
